🗓️ Itinerary
Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt
- Depart from Fes in the morning
- Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains
- Stop in Ifrane, known as "Little Switzerland"
- Visit the cedar forests of Azrou to see wild monkeys
- Continue through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves
- Arrive in Midelt, the "Apple City"
- Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse
Day 2: Midelt - Errachidia - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
- Morning departure towards the desert
- Stop in Errachidia and visit a traditional market
- Continue through the Ziz Valley with its dramatic gorges
- Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon
- Sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes
- Overnight in a luxury desert camp with dinner and music
Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley
- Sunrise over the dunes (optional)
- Return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4
- Visit the traditional market in Rissani
- Drive through the Tafilalet region with its palm groves
- Stop at Todgha Gorge for a walk between towering cliffs
- Continue to Dades Valley through the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs"
- Dinner and overnight in a hotel with valley views
Day 4: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate
- Morning visit to Dades Valley and its kasbahs
- Drive through the Valley of the Roses (best in April-May)
- Visit the Skoura Oasis and its palm groves
- Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou
- Visit the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate
- Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate
Day 5: Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
- Morning at leisure in Ouarzazate
- Visit the Taourirt Kasbah
- Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m)
- Stop at various viewpoints for photos
- Arrive in Marrakech in the evening
- Overnight in a riad in the medina
Day 6: Marrakech - Departure
- Morning guided tour of Marrakech's highlights
- Visit the Bahia Palace and Koutoubia Mosque
- Explore the vibrant souks and Djemaa el-Fna square
- Transfer to the airport for departure
